WW2 Gallery
Introduction

This section has a some photos of my WW2 Polish and Finns. I orginally got some aircraft to support my 1/300th ground forces but now these get used on my air games.

The Polish were all painted Olive green and the markings were hand painted, while the letters and numbers are from I-94. The markings on the other aircraft are from I-94.

Click on the images to see a larger version. Note most of the images will display the model 2-3 times bigger than actual size and the paint jobs may look a bit rough!

Navwar Pz 11c Fighter. A nice little model of this monoplane from Navwar.

Navwar Pz 37 Los Bomber. Another nice model from Navwar the the standard olive green camo of the polish airforce.

Scotia Pz 23 Karas. Very good model of this aircraft although one of mine came with the tail miscast and badly bent. Nothing a big pair of pliers and some filler couldn't fix!

Navwar Brewster Buffalo. A classic underdog fighter in WW2 although the Finns did very well with them on the Eastern front. A good model from Navwar.

Navwar MS406. A good model from Navwar. This is another that performed well on the Eastern front. The markings are from the ??????? squadron.

Navwar Typhoon. A very good model with lots of panel scribing. The markings, including the invasion stripes, are from I-94 and are much easier than trying to paint them on.

Navwar Gloster Gladiator. A good model from Navwar. One day I might replace the wheels with skids.

Scotia P40C Tomahawk. This is a very nice model and is painted in the colours of the 1st Squadron of the famous Flying Tigers. The decals are from i-94 but the sharks teeth were hand painted.

More Flying Tiger P40Cs. In the colour scheme of the second squadron of the flying tigers. Some of the models had machine gun barrels missing but I didnt bother replacing them.

And some more Flying Tiger P40Cs Painted in the colours of the third squadron. I was starting to run out of white numerals at this point and had to make do with what numbers I had left.
